SO 45001:2018 Health & Safety Management System
Jerram Falkus has successfully achieved the transition from (BS) OHSAS 18001:2007 Health and Safety Management System to the new International Health & Safety Standards ISO 45001:2018. The new international standards are expected to bring huge benefits to organisations – designed to prevent work-related injury and helping businesses to provide a safe and healthy workplace environment.
As a forward thinking company Jerram Falkus took the decision to upgrade the existing system to meet the requirements of the new standard as soon as possible.Thanks go to our QESH Manager, Eric Tomlinson for managing this transition.
This was formally confirmed by Exova BM TRADA in September 2018 following a detailed two day external audit which included an interview with our Joint Managing Director, Jonathan Jerram, and a review of controls in place on our construction sites. Jerram Falkus Construction Ltd is now one of the first construction companies in the UK to hold an ISO 45001:2018 certificate.
