Official opening at Hounslow Town Primary

We were delighted to attend the official opening of our £20m new build project, Hounslow Town Primary School this month. The newly expanded five-form-entry primary school has a capacity for 1,200 pupils and provides contemporary sports and play facilities. Jerram Falkus began construction of the school in June 2017, which formed part of a wider regeneration scheme known as The Assembly for our client Countryside Properties PLC. The Assembly which sits on the site of the former school building will provide 284 new mixed-tenure homes, of which almost 50% is affordable housing. The new school was officially opened in a ceremony with speeches given by Cllr Curran, Leader of Hounslow Council, Cllr Tom Bruce, Cabinet Member for Education, Children and Youth Services,

Laura Khalil, Headteacher of Hounslow Town Primary School, and Mike Woolliscroft, Managing Director, Partnerships South (West), Countryside. Laura Khalil, Headteacher of Hounslow Town Primary School, added: “The redevelopment of the school, has enabled us to add a further class per year group and provide students with vital new facilities, enriching our existing educational offering.”
