Great progress at Arnold Road
14/03/2025
Take a look at the view from the top of our Arnold Road project for the London Borough of Tower Hamlets!
So how is the project coming along?
The concrete frames have been built and we have now commenced brickwork.
We have also begun adding the steel framing system sheathing board. This create an ideal base for finishing materials. These works will continue over the next few weeks.
As clear as day! The windows are now being installed and these should all be in place within the next two months.
Party walls are in place, separating out the different apartments. As these are put in place, screeding commences.
Screeding is essential as it creates a smooth surface which will be ready for flooring materials. Once the screed has dried we will install the internal walls within the flats. Then the mechanical and electrical installations will be able to commence.
By way of aesthetics, the ground floor colonnade will feature pink re-cast concrete blocks. These are in place and soon will be mirrored by pink blocks which will be installed on the roof parapets.
The roof membrane is now dry, waterproofing the building. Soon, roof insulation will be installed. The finished roof will also feature photovoltaic panels.
The view isn’t too bad from up here either!
The finished mixed-use scheme will see the delivery of 62 new homes and 5 commercial units.
