David Street & Anne Street, Newham

We recently delivered two housing projects for the London Borough of Newham. The two schemes are part of Wave 1 of infill sites identified for the borough’s affordable home 2018-2022 programme.

Together the two schemes see the construction of a combination of houses, flats and maisonettes. Both projects have produced low energy homes designed to the Passivhaus Standard.

David Street
The project involves the construction of 12 homes on a former garage site. Of the 12 properties, 4 homes will be DDA compliant, with the other 8 being built to adapt if required. We took possession of the site in March 2021, with some preliminary works taking place, including a breaking ground operation and other site investigations.

Anne Street
The project involves the construction of 7 homes on a former garage site. We took possession of the site in March 2021, with some preliminary works taking place, including a breaking ground operation and other site investigations.

Both developments have been exemplary in terms of sustainability and social value.
