Revolutionising Respite Care: The Haydock Avenue, Northolt Project

Jerram Falkus is proud to unveil the completion of a pioneering public sector healthcare project for the Ealing Council community. Our latest endeavour at Haydock Avenue, Northolt, is a specially designed respite care facility meticulously crafted to cater to the needs of young children and young adults with disabilities.

Project Insight

Embarking on this project, we faced a uniquely challenging site, formerly occupied by garages, which presented considerable restrictions in terms of operational space and accessibility for deliveries. Yet, our team’s resilience and ingenuity turned these challenges into opportunities for innovation.

The transformation involved the demolition of the old structures, paving the way for the erection of a single-storey, part two-storey building. The centre houses state-of-the-art bedrooms, sensory rooms designed to stimulate and soothe, a fully equipped medical room, and communal spaces encouraging interaction and community building. Additionally, the facility includes office spaces that form the administrative backbone of this sanctuary of support.

Community Impact and Inclusivity

At the heart of the Haydock Avenue project is a profound understanding of its potential to significantly impact the lives of individuals and families. The respite centre offers overnight care and essential support to children and adults with disabilities.
