The project has been developed using traditional methods of construction consisting of mass concrete strip foundations, brick and block walls with beam and block flooring at ground floor. Precast planks will be used for upper floors to all flats and engineered timber floor joists to the houses. Roofs will be constructed using off-site fabricated roof trusses, with the exception of the second floor of flats which will be constructed in a steel framed pitch with cut and pitched timber infill. All roofs including bays and dormers with have concrete tiled coverings.
