Jerram Falkus Hosts Meet the Builder Event for Roxwell Road Site in Barking

Our Roxwell Road Site Team hosted a Meet the Builder event at a local community centre in Barking. This event allowed us to actively engage with local residents who live near our new development site.

Transforming Barking’s Landscape

We are currently overseeing the demolition of existing buildings on the site, which will pave the way for the construction of new residential blocks, a car parking area, substations, and beautiful landscaping. This initiative is part of our latest contribution to social housing, undertaken in collaboration with the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham’s regeneration company, Be First.

Interactive Session With Residents

Armed with the architect’s detailed plans and CGIs of the proposed development, our team set up an informative display in the centre’s main hall. It was important to us that residents had the opportunity to see the new development, ask questions, and express any concerns regarding the project plans. This setup also provided a chance for the community to meet and get to know the members of our site team personally. The scheme is strategically located within a residential area, surrounded by a number of schools and community facilities.

Project Manager Mark Conway expressed his enthusiasm about the project, saying:

“On behalf of Jerram Falkus, I’m looking forward to working with our surrounding neighbours on Thames View and we are pleased to have now entered the construction phase. The project will deliver accommodation comprising 80 flats and 7 houses, 10 of which will be adapted for residents with disabilities, on behalf of our client, Be First.”
