The Palms Retail Space, Peckham

Our new-build developers worked on The Palms retail space, one of the new build developments, in the heart of Peckham, providing hairstyling and beauty services. As part of the ongoing redevelopment of the Peckham Rye Station area, Southwark Council relocated the many hair and beauty businesses originally based in the Bleinheim Grove area to a new build purpose-designed facility on the site of former disused garages in Bournemouth Close.

The council partnered with design company Something & Son to manage the site and support the independent businesses to make Peckham Palms to destination for Afro-Caribbean hair and beauty in London.

Our new-build developers completed the construction of retail space for the hair and beauty shops a purpose-designed, palm-tree themed, beauty boulevard with a roof canopy. This new centre for hair and beauty draws its inspirations from Peckham’s cultural heritage and distinctiveness providing a hub for African-Caribbean hairstyling and beauty businesses.
