Arnold Road, Bow – A Beacon of Affordable Housing in East London

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Bow, East London, Jerram Falkus is making tangible strides in residential development with our Arnold Road project, an ambitious £24.5 million undertaking for the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. This development is a construction endeavour and a community-centric initiative to bolster affordable housing options in the bustling metropolis.

Project Overview

Initiated in the brisk winter of December 2022, the Arnold Road project is a testament to our commitment to fostering community development through quality housing. It is expected to be completed in January 2025, integrating seamlessly into Bow’s urban landscape as a modern residential hub.

Our vision is crystallising through designing and constructing two architecturally compelling blocks, laying the foundation for a dynamic mixed-use space. The ground floors will house five commercial units, envisaged as thriving spaces for local businesses, invigorating the community’s economic fabric. This development will feature 62 affordable and comfortable flats. Six of these homes are thoughtfully designed to be wheelchair-adaptable, ensuring accessibility for all.

Innovative Design and Sustainable Construction

The development is meticulously woven with new service connections, including expansive works beyond the site’s boundary. This infrastructural tapestry will ensure the development surpasses the contemporary urban living standards.

Our construction philosophy marries sustainability with aesthetics. Each flat is designed to be a bastion of comfort, providing residents with a sanctuary and the warmth of a home. The external façade of the development will reflect the vibrant spirit of East London, while the interiors will be a cocoon of tranquillity and modernity.

Commitment to Quality and Community

At Jerram Falkus, our legacy of over 138 years in the construction industry is built on quality, integrity, and community pillars. The Arnold Road project reflects these values, embodying our commitment to delivering buildings and homes that resonate with the heartbeat of the community. Each brick laid and every plan drawn is infused with the spirit of innovation, sustainability, and a deep-seated respect for the community we serve.
